I started by sorting through the box of flowers I purchased from Amazon. I decided to go with the peach and white colored flowers for summer and left the blue flowers for another project.

Most of the flowers did not have a stem attached to them so I used the hot glue gun to glue the stem into the head of the flower. Then I used a pair of wire cutters and made the stem approximately 2 to 3 inches long. You want the stem to be long enough to shove through the grapevine, but not too long that it sticks out the back of it.

I arranged a large peach-colored flower at the bottom of the wreath with all the smaller flowers above it and spread the other flowers around the grapevine in no particular order. Once I had a general idea of where I wanted the large flowers, I applied hot glue to the stem of each flower and pushed it into the grapevine at an angle.

After the flowers were glued to the wreath I cut sections of the lamb’s ear leaves off and attached them in and around the flowers.

Then, I filled in spots that seemed empty with more flowers and little pieces of greenery that were included in the flower kit.

AND this is the final product!
